Applications/Software Engineer
Job Purpose
High impact position in a dynamic and privately owned company. You’ll have the opportunity to interact with leading technology companies and determine how ZTEC Instruments can make a positive impact on their business. You’ll be involved in various phases of the sales and support process including requirements analysis, product demonstrations, benchmarks, and implementation.
Essential Functions
1) Provide technical and application support via the web portal
2) Create and/or implement customer focused solutions
3) Provide critical customer needs to R&D
4) Maintain close working relationship with customer
5) Provide product training as required
6) Project management ensuring all milestones are successfully met on time
Preferences
This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in computer applications software engineering. IT experience will be a bonus. You should also have the capability to design, scope, and develop the technical components of a solution based on the customer’s needs.
Experience with C/C++ is a must. Software development experience is preferred.
Candidate must possess excellent leadership skills and will have a proven record of success. You must demonstrate the unique ability to work closely in teams, independently, and be involved with many projects at once.
Position will be located in Albuquerque, NM.
Travel will be required.
