Electrical/Power Engineer
Job Purpose
This position is for an electrical engineer with a BS or higher degree with power systems, electronics, and controls experience. Knowledge and experience with distributed energy resources (AC/DC Inverter, transformers, switch gear, utility systems) is preferred. Must be familiar with control systems using; PLC’s, motors, drives, and control components. Responsible for electrical systems and controls design and interface specification of ESP’s terrestrial solar photovoltaic product. Active Knowledge of the National and International Electrical Code requirements and standardized qualification/compliance testing such as (CE, UL, IEEE, IEC) is also required.
Essential Functions
Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates electronic parts, components, and other hardware systems. Software knowledge is a plus.
